SOAP ME ! is a SMIDGE Study Method for an Inspirational, Deep, Gratifying, Enlightening connection with the Living Word of God, in this free educational forum of the Online Bible Study offered at Obsidian.
Just like the acronym says, we believe the Word of God can wash you, and cleanse you deeply.
The Online Bible Study course is conceptualized in 7 steps, just like there are 7 days of the week, suggesting you dedicate 10 to 20 minutes a day, for a week to immerse yourself into a short passage from the Bible.
this is the step for day 7, in other words the “invisible letter”, that which stays hidden to the superficial onlooker. on day 7 you can either give your study a rest, or take it deeper, like a dedicated seeker, into the spiritual proclamation, the smidge exclamation mark of soapme!

- look at your study notes in the days 1 to 6
- read briefly what you noted
- try to recall what you may have thought and felt (and possibly didn’t document)
- what journey in your faith have you taken in these past 6 days
- what difficulties had you overcome
- what understanding was reached
- what sins could you confess
- what changes could you start
- how has your life been impacted by God through His Word
- what truth(s) enriched your life
- truths may be uncomfortable at times
- truths may be surprising at times
- truths may be comforting at times
- truths may feel like an AHA,moment at times
- what has God taught/what spoke God to you through the verse
- Devotional Entry: write and publish a synopses of your past weeks Online Bible Study, including your epiphanies, prayers and praises inspired by tHis Bible verse, referencing Our free educational Online Bible Study Method, and smidge program
Please share the Bible passage along side your personal Devotional entry. It may feel a bit shakey and insecure. you may feel very vulnerable when you share a devotional. This step is not for everyone. It is for the seekers who aspire to be deeply connected and useful to the Holy Spirit. the more we make ourselves available, the more we are relatable, the more people we can reach with the Good News.
