WOW!
Every one of those Sunday sermons
Every time that choir would sing
I could hear my Savior calling, telling me how much He loves me
#WOW!
It is that time of the week. Others may call it hump day, but WE at ObsObsidian call it WOW, short for Worship Online Wednesday. On Wednesdays we all come together, virtually, and electronically, each of us on our respective devices. And as we gather – regardless of where we are – we become united. United in our worship together. Like a remote church choir, we are using this wonderful blessing, HIS blessing of the internet, to connect us. Connect us, as people, and connect us as HIS children.
On the days of WOW, We share quotes from contemporary or past-time artists celebrating our Good God through beautiful, soul-lifting moving songs. We are posting a quote from their song – so you can research it, play it, read it, study it, get inspired by it, and, of course, sing along, or meditate over it.
We encourage you to support the artists by downloading their music. At the same time, We invite you, to listen to and sing along to the song, the quote is taken from. Meditate on the song lyrics throughout the week to come, to connect to the message even more deeply.
Please share your experiences with WOW in the comment section below. Did you know this song, and have maybe a personal testimony about it? What does this quote mean to you? How does the song move you? What insights or inspirations came to you through this WOW experience? Share, reblog, subscribe, and participate. Let’s Worship on Wednesdays! Use our preferred hashtags on suitable social media (respecting their respective posting rules) to help us spread these messages of faith, love, hope, and peace.
